PASS Conference Stories - Tagging Rushabh

At the European Conference Eventin Munch, Germany, Rushabh and I decided to go back out since everyone else seemed to be too tired.  Some of the attendees had given us an address of a place where they were going to be for the night.  Rushabh's German skills are only slightly worse than mine.  I knew how to say some tings like "Please", "Excuse Me", "Thank you", and several other pleasantries.  Before we headed out, I looked at the road sign so that I knew the road the hotel was on.  It was Eibenstrassen (or something like that).  We never did find the party. We ended up in a bar for a couple of drinks and decided to call it a night.  I started ask questions on how to get to "Eibenstrassen" street.  I quickly found out that Eibenstrassen meant "One Way" in German.  :-)

OK, I was reading your story and thinking "this isn't funny at all", but I have to admit, after reading the punchline it wasn't half-bad!

I had a friend who visited me in Seattle from Russia. She got lost in the city and called me to pick her up. She said that she was at the intersection of "Pine and One Way streets" :)
