Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 Both RTM

OEMs are reported to have access to the RTM builds as of Friday, July 24.  Microsoft Connect and MSDN subscribers will start getting access beginning August 6.  The consumer version is scheduled for a late October release.

Um, you probably mean Windows Server 2008 R2... SQL Server 2008 R2 is still cooking.

"Randomly trolling" is correct. And MSDN customers will only get access to Windows Server R2 on Aug 14. Windows 7 will be available slightly earlier, on the date you mentioned.

Yeah, Windows 7 will be available on MSDN Aug 6, with Gold/Certified Partners available to get in in English through MPN starting Aug. 16.  And as you point out, Server 2008 R2 available beginning Aug 14.
