Your Performance Analysis gadget sounds interesting. Does it utilise agents? I found them so troublesome on previous products. Also what are the licensing costs?

I hate to sound like an idiot, but I don't know how much it costs.

Performance Analysis is a very sophisticated product. It includes a middleware component so that you can compare performance from period to period over any time that you've monitored SQL Server. Thus, you could compare today's performance with last month and last year at the same time. It does use an agent called StealthCollect that has the industry's lowest overhead - at or less than 1%.
