&lt;p&gt;Performance Analysis is a very sophisticated product. &amp;nbsp;It includes a middleware component so that you can compare performance from period to period over any time that you've monitored SQL Server. &amp;nbsp;Thus, you could compare today's performance with last month and last year at the same time. &amp;nbsp;It does use an agent called StealthCollect that has the industry's lowest overhead - at or less than 1%. &amp;nbsp;It's unique among all monitoring products. &amp;nbsp;Check out more details at the URL above.&lt;/p&gt;
