Bob Dorr’s SQL I/O Presentation on PSS Blog

In case you missed it, Bob Dorr from the PSS Team posted an amazing blog post today yesterday with all of the slides and speaker notes from his SQL Server I/O presentation.  This is a must read for and Database Professional using SQL Server.

I read this last night, even though I knew a lot of this information beforehand (I'm true blue sql geek)

It is really fanstastic to see it in one well written blog by a renowed expert, Even discovered something new that in SQL 2008 WriteMultiple now does upto 32 pages as a contigoious write.. this is double (previous 16 Pages) that of SQL 2005, will check out what performance improvement this has on our systems
