Whitepaper: Troubleshooting Performance Problems in SQL Server 2008

Microsoft released a new whitepaper titled Troubleshooting Performance Problems in SQL Server 2008 which covers how to troubleshoot common performance problems with SQL Server 2008 using existing features from SQL Server 2005 and some newer features specific to SQL Server 2008.  Topics include using Extended Events (briefly covered), the Performance Data Collectors, DMV's (including some new to SQL 2008), SQL Profiler, and System/Performance Monitor.

It is definitely a good read for anyone that currently manages SQL Server 2008, or looking to upgrade to SQL Server 2008 in the future.
