Microsoft has a new and better way to get a free Azure account for a month. All you need to do to sign up is provide your Windows Live Id and register at using promotional code DPCE01. This is a great way to learn about SQL Azure and improve your skills. You might be interested in downloading the SQL Azure version of the AdventureWorks database from Codeplex.
