Just FYI, you get *some* of the functionality back if you (re-)apply CU6 after applying the VS service pack.

Using a 3rd party tool (like RedGate's SQL Prompt, or a free one like DevArt SQLComplete Express) seems to be a viable workaround.

Intellisense is the #1 reason I switched from 2005 to 2008. They'll have to pry Intellisense from my cold, dead hands before I'll update anything to take it away. (yeah, I know it probably wasn't intentional)
