SolidQ Journal for August is now available

Well, we only just managed to squeek it into August but the articles for the August edition of SolidQ Journal are now on our global website. You'll find them here:

I'm really looking forward to reading some of these this month.

Geoff Snowman is discussing "Different Flavors of Cloud Computing", I've got an article on "Much Ado About SIDs and Logins", Francisco De Chirico shows how to "Rename the All Member in an MDX Parameter in Reporting Services", Gianluca Holz and Herbert Albert show how to "Restore with Powershell" and Gilberto Zampatti provides an introduction to "SharePoint for the DBA".

The one that's most likely to be topical is Davide Mauri's article on NoSQL entitled "The Road to Nowhere".

Our profiled mentor this month is Craig Utley.

I'm really proud of our global team and how well this journal is coming together.

I haven't read it yet, just skimmed through and noted although paragraphs first lines are indented to the right, paragraphs are missing spaces before and/or after each other, giving the impression each article is made of a large monolithic chunk of text.

Hi Luciano, where are you seeing that behavior?

I wasn't able to find a link for feedback/discussions under these articles. Can you elaborate on how are we supposed to share our feedback? Thanks.

Hi Alexander, it's not there yet. We're all happy to get emails of course. It's the next thing being added to the site though.
