A place for my thoughts and experiences on SQL Server, Business Intelligence and .NET
I’ve been playing with Master Data Services quite a lot in those last days and I’m also monitoring the web for all available resources on it.
Today I’ve found this freshly released sample available on MSDN Code Gallery:
SQL Server Master Data Services Employee Sample Model
http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/SSMDSEmployeeSample
This sample shows how Recursive Hierarchies can be modeled in order to represent a typical organizational chart scenario where a self-relationship exists on the Employee entity.
