Actually, NoSQL is a fairly broad term that encompasses not only key-value pair storage, but other paradigmns as well, so I had to qualify it to be accurate. One meaning of NoSQL is &amp;quot;Not Only SQL&amp;quot;, so you'll find there is no single storage/retrieval methodology there. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Agreed, NoSQL is a fairly poorly defined unbrella term for a great many things - one of which is Azure Table Storage. Hence why I think its more appropriate to say Azure Table Storage IS a NoSQL implementation, rather than being similar to one.&lt;/p&gt;
