Be careful.  There were girls at my high school that there dads were like that.  Alot of guys "dated" their daughters.

Mike: I suspect the implication is that seeing an angry Andy on the other side of a shotgun would not be a very pleasant experience for any boy who dares "date" his little princesses.

I gave my daughter's first boyfriend a list of "rules for dating my daughter".  It started with "You shall not honk when you arrive to pick up my daughter, you'll come to the door, knock and chat with her parents before she joins you for the evening."  It ended something along the lines of "You'll not sit for an extended period of time in the driveway when you return her home.  That red dot in the middle of your forehead will be the laser sight on my rifle."  My daughter was livid with me, but I got a lot of laughs about it in the years since.
