SSIS Training in March

Introduction

I just responded to an email asking about my SSIS training course: From Zero To SSIS. You can obtain SSIS training from a variety of sources, so why would you want me to mentor you in SSIS?

Differentiators

I thought my response sums key differentiators nicely:

Allow me to tell you about From Zero To SSIS - the Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services course I offer. First, this course was not so much written as it was designed. That took a year.
My experience as an SSIS Developer and Architect include consulting engagements with large clients for recognizable consulting firms. If you search for SSIS training, you will find others with similar experience. My experience also includes leading a team of 40 ETL Developers for over two years. That's something you won't find on many resumes.
As a result, I'm familiar with many aspects and roles within SSIS development. I've solved some of the problems an enterprise faces when using SSIS and built this knowledge into SSIS Frameworks and Design Patterns. I've been responsible for an Application Lifecycle that included development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. I've been on-call to support SSIS.
You can find other SSIS trainers out there. Most of them are very good. I don't believe it takes anything away from them to say "I think my experience, course, and training is better."

Conclusion

The next public class for From Zero To SSIS is 21-25 Mar 2011.

Cost: $2,500 USD
Where: Farmville Virginia
Maximum Class Size: 8

I would love to attend this sometime! Getting the time away from work is an issue for me now though, due to other commitments. If you ever consider putting together a virtual 4 day seminar across two weekends, I would love to do that.
