Joel Spolsky Retires From Blogging in 3 Days

No it's not 1 Apr. Joel Spolsky (Blog - @spolsky) announced recently he is retiring from blogging 17 Mar 2010.

Reading Joel on Software always makes me think. Mr. Spolsky pioneered a writing style. Along the way he empowered developers, encouraging them to speak up about the manifold misconceptions of our trade.

I will miss Mr. Spolsky's writings. I wish him well in all his endeavors.

	Jim Danby said: Not convinced that Spolsky pioneered anything. He used to be interesting but as his readership (and ego) grey he became less so. Recently in podcasts I have found the man to be arrogant and belittling of people who are less far down the path than he. I won't miss him because I missed the good parts that disappeared a year or two ago. March 15, 2010 6:12 PM
