Practical Performance Monitoring and Tuning

My next performance class will be in San Francisco, CA on May 9th thru the 11th. I haven’t been to San Francisco in about 10 years and I am looking forward to getting back there. The material is a bit refined over the first class and I added a few more real world examples so it should be a fun and educational 3 days. If you want to spend a few days with me in San Fran have a look here for more details:

Hi Andy...just signed up from this...and coming down from Edmonton.  I haven't been the San Fran since I was 10, so I am quite looking forward to the whole experience.   Might have to catch a ballgame and check out some of the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives from the area.

As for the course, I rely pretty heavily on Quest PA and am looking forward to adding some tools to take some of the issues it identifies and deal with them better.

Hi Andy...just wanted to say thanks for the great job at this seminar.  I came away with a number of approaches to implement immediately and a number of things to consider as we look to upgrade our database server in the next short while.

I have been back at work for a couple of hours now and am already running a number of the DMV's we discussed to get an idea of where my bottlenecks are.  Should a fun next few days.

Thanks again and I will definately look to attend another seminar with you down the road.
