[Speaking] Scripting SQL Server Objects with PowerShell

In conjunction with the launch of Red Gate's SQL Source Control product, I'm presenting a webinar on Thursday, November 18 at noon EST. I'll present an introduction to PowerShell for those who've never seen it, walk through the basics of the SQL Server SMO Object Model, so you can see how SQL Server organizes all it's objects, then show you a script which will walk through that object model and create T-SQL scripts of all the objects in a database.

These scripts can then be your basis for your source control management of your database, which will help you keep control of your production environment, and allow you to quickly recover from inadvertent changes.

Register for the free webinar at, and all registrants are eligible for a $99 licence for SQL Source Control.

See you there!
