The SQL Server Release Services team recently announced that they have released a new Cumulative Update for SQL Server 2008 SP1:

This update will bring you to build 10.00.2789. From the looks of the KB article, a healthy dose of fixes are made available in this update (a lot more than it looks like are in store for SP2).

Note that if you have installed the SQL Server 2008 SP2 CTP (which I talked about previously), you should not attempt to install this update. It is likely that shortly after the final release of SP2 is made available, there will be a follow-up Cumulative Update that will be published, and will include all or most of the fixes from CU #9.
Edit for Roger Falor: yes, the 64-bit version is available. When you go to the KB article and select "View and request Hotfix Downloads," the KB article tries to do you a favor, and presents you only downloads for the platform you're currently running. So in your case, you've probably gone looking for the 64-bit hotfix but you're using an x86 machine. Here is what you'll see:
If you click on "Show hotfixes for all platforms and languages," you will get more options. I've highlighted the one you're after in the following screen shot:
